Today's itinerary focuses on the Buda area, and the main attractions are: 1. Széchenyi Chain Bridge→ 2. Buda Royal Palace→ 3. Matthias Church →4. Fisherman's Fort
Buda Palace, also known as Buda Castle, is located on Budapest Castle Hill in Hungary and is now listed as a World Heritage Site. Construction began in 1247 by King Béla IV of Hungary, after which King Sigismund of Luxembourg converted the original building into a Gothic royal palace. Buda District is the old town of Budapest, with many ancient ruins.
Today is our third day in Budapest, the sky is not beautiful, it started to rain from the morning, although a little disappointed, but only one of the three days in total was rainy, and I am very grateful, but when I was preparing the information, I don't know why I was so confused and actually regarded the Freedom Bridge as the Széchenyi Chain Bridge, so we took the subway to the Central Market Station. When I came to the Freedom Bridge, I was always puzzled because I knew there were two lions on the bridge, but I didn't see them, and later I found out that I made a mistake.
There are a total of three bridges here, from left to right are the Freedom Bridge, Elizabeth Bridge, and Széchenyi Chain Bridge. There are often mistakes when traveling freely, but we always look at everything with a feeling of gratitude.
When walking from the Freedom Bridge towards the Buda Palace, you will see a scenic spot on the left, called Gellért Hill Cave, Gellért Cave (Hungarian: Gellérthegyi-barlang) is Budapest, the capital of Hungary A group of caves in Mount Gellert. The Gellert Cave, also known as Szent Iván-barlang, was named after a hermit who lived here and was rumored to have used the spring water here to treat patients. After 1926, it was a monastery, but it was closed during the communist period. After 1992, the church function was restored.
The most striking features of the Castle Garden Bazaar Buda are worth visiting, such as the neo-Renaissance complex as an extension of the Buda Castle Royal Palace, and the fascinating historical staircase leading to the level of Buda Castle. On top of that, the Bazaar (ornamental garden) offers another way to get close to the Buda Castle on the top of the hill: you can walk on the long stairs, you can take the escalator (in any season), or you can use the elevator
Mace Tower is around Buda Castle, there are many castle walls, bunkers, and there is no one here because it may be raining, so I just took some photos.

Buda Palace is located on the castle hill, you can hike up the mountain, in fact, it is not too high, it takes about 20 minutes to walk up the mountain, there is no problem for the elderly, but it is also a good choice to experience riding the cable car.
Matthias Church (Hungarian: Mátyás-templom) is a Roman Catholic church in Budapest, Hungary, in front of the Fisherman's Fortress in the center of the Buda Castle district. According to church tradition, it was originally built in the Roman style in 1015, although there are no archaeological remains. The current building was built in the second half of the 14th century in the ornate Gothic style and was extensively restored in the late 19th century. It was the second largest Buda church in the Middle Ages and the seventh cathedral of the Kingdom of Hungary in the Middle Ages.
Matthias Church (also translated: Magash Church) is located on the Castle Hill in Budapest and is a beautiful and stylish cathedral. Matthias Church has a Gothic mixed Austro-Hungarian design, and the most special feature is that it has a brightly colored tiled roof, which adds vitality to the serious church. The entrance fee to Matthias Church is 1400 forints, and the interior of the church is also breathtaking, running through the color scheme of the roof, from the floor to the walls, to the ceiling, all of which are colorful patterns! "PATERN" is the characteristic of this church, with dim lighting, it is solemn and a bit psychedelic.

Just as it was drizzling and crossing the chain bridge to the direction of the B&B, today's trip was about to end, originally we had a cruise ship to visit the Danube River tonight, the itinerary of this cruise ship should be quite good, the time is seven o'clock in the evening, a total of two hours, the reason why it is arranged at this time is to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the sunset, and then there will be a night view of the entire riverside, which should be very beautiful, but we are already very tired and the weather is bad, so we had to lose two ferry tickets, go home to rest and continue the next trip.
About five days after we returned to the United States, we heard news that a Korean tour group was shipwrecked in front of the Capitol building on a ship, with a total of 7 dead and 21 missing, which is really unfortunate.
