At 12:00 PM, we drove from Ankara to Cappadocia. The drive took 4:40 hours, with a stop at Lake Tuz. There was another hiccup along the way. The Google Maps map of Lake Tuz was different from the one advertised to tourists, so even though we knew there was a sign, we missed it. The lake is so large that we kept driving along it until something felt off. We couldn't see the lake anymore, but we couldn't give up, thinking, "How could I have come all this way without seeing the vast expanse of the lake?" So we turned back and found a gas station, but we couldn't speak the language, so we had to use Google to translate. Fortunately, there was a young man at the gas station who helped us and told us that we had to drive back 40 kilometers to get where we were going. We had already driven that far, so we had to turn back. As the saying goes, if you work hard, you will see it in the end. It was so beautiful and worth it.
