Budapest, the capital of Hungary, was actually three cities in ancient times, and it was not until 1873 that the Danube River was used as the dividing point, consisting of Buda in the mountains to the west and Pest from the plains to the east. Its history has experienced the beginning of the Roman Empire, and then it was divided by nomads, the Ottoman Empire, the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the German Nazis, the Soviet Union... and other occupations, and the long history gave birth to the Republic of Hungary as we see it today. Geologically, Budapest is located on a fault, so Budapest has many hot springs, which also creates a local hot spring culture.
Today's itinerary is from Slovakia to Budapest, Szent Gellért-templom station, where I transfer to the MRT system to the B&B. The bus journey is about 2 hours and 30 minutes, when we arrive in Budapest it is about one o'clock in the afternoon, so there is still more than half a day to do the city tour, today's focus is on the Central Market→ Heroes' Square→ Vojdaci Castle.
Apartment B&B in Budapest for 3 nights
Because there is only half a day, the main places I want to go are the Central Market, Liberty Bridge, Heroes' Square, Vajdahunyad vára, the transportation in Budapest is very convenient, the most common is the subway, and then the tram, a little introduction to how to buy subway tickets, if you only ride less than five times a day, then you can buy a one-way ticket, if you want to ride unlimited times, you need to buy a Budape pass. The card is divided into five types: 24/48/72/96/120 hours, because we need to take many trips, so we buy a 24-hour day pass on the first day, and you must buy a ticket when taking the subway here, because each entrance has inspectors to check the ticket before entering. The subway system is the same, just download the Metro map and everything is OK!
When we put our luggage away, we headed straight to the central market, knowing that there was a lot of food to eat there, and we were also very hungry.

The central market looks very lively, the food is dazzling, but after all, it is a tourist market, things are expensive and not delicious, it's not bad to join in the excitement, just look at the flowers and eat casually, don't have too high expectations, when we walk out of the market, suddenly the wind and clouds change color and hail falls, everyone runs and hides, the weather is really ever-changing, after almost ten minutes, the dark clouds immediately float over the blue sky and reappear.

After finishing the Central Market and Freedom Bridge, we took the subway to Heroes' Square and Vojdaci Castle, these two places are located at the last two stations of the subway yellow line, so it is quite simple, the yellow line should be the oldest subway, so every station is antique.
