Lake Zug is renowned for its magnificent sunsets. The hues of the sun are reflected on the water, while the mountains in the background are bathed in warm sunlight. The views are particularly beautiful from the lakeside promenade or from Zug Mountain.
Our independent travels in Switzerland had a major highlight, a rare opportunity: I have a cousin who works there. She lives in Zug and was incredibly hospitable, insisting we stay at her apartment in Switzerland. You can't imagine a cousin like that. We stayed for seven days. Switzerland is arguably the most expensive country in the world, and a night here wouldn't be enough to spend more than $300 USD. Her company is very close to Zug train station, about a six-minute walk away. Her home in Knonau is about a 10-minute train ride or a 25-minute drive away, making it incredibly convenient. So, let's take a quick look at the city.
On our first night, my cousin treated us to SAN MARCO, an Italian restaurant on Lake Zug. Their pizza was fantastic.
Before we set off for Jungfrau, my cousin took us to Zurichsee, a lake near Zug. Switzerland is really full of alpine lakes. It is truly a beautiful country given by God.
As we were walking along the lakeside, we saw a sport that the locals were playing on the lake. This really opened our eyes because we had never seen a water activity in our lives, hydrofoiling sport. It was something new.
