Lóndrangar
Lóndrangar
Lóndrangar was once a volcanic crater. Millions of years of marine erosion have left only two massive cliff pillars, one 75 meters (246 feet) tall and the other 61 meters (200 feet). Their immense size has earned these incredible structures the nickname "Rock Castle." The cliffs are easily accessible from the visitor center through mossy lava fields, but they can also be seen from the sea. Surfing is relatively popular in the area, and surfing in the shadow of these majestic peaks only enhances the experience.
