On our first day, right after we got off the plane, our guide, Ah Anh, led us deep into Hanoi's Old Quarter to sample four distinctive street dishes, all included in the package price. This was a culinary feast exploring the flavors of Northern Vietnam, including pho, rice noodle rolls, Vietnamese spring rolls, grilled pork rice noodles, French bread, and Vietnamese egg coffee, allowing us to experience the most authentic Hanoi food culture under safe and professional guidance.
Our tour guide, Ah Ying, led us to our first local snack: the well-known and authentic Vietnamese pho with fried dough sticks. (Ah Ying took a photo)
The second snack was Vietnamese rice noodle rolls, which were so soft and tender they made my mouth water!
The third dish was served on the street, sitting on the ground and eating Vietnamese spring rolls filled with vegetables and many other fillings – it was quite a feast!
MẸT Vietnamese Restaurant: If you ask me which restaurant I recommend when traveling to Hanoi, I'll immediately recommend this one! It's absolutely delicious 💯 I ate the whole thing myself 🤣 The staff are incredibly friendly, chatting and interacting with customers and always checking on their dining experience. The menu is extensive, offering both Vietnamese and Chinese dishes. The Vietnamese assorted spring rolls are super delicious! They come with three types of wrappers and three types of fillings.
On my way home, I saw a durian stall and decided to order a plate to satisfy my craving.
The hotel receptionist's careful recommendation of the Vietnamese beef pho at PHỞ INN, a place frequented by locals, was truly exceptional.
The hotel receptionist earnestly recommended Bếp Quán, a Michelin-starred Vietnamese restaurant frequented by locals. The meal, consisting of three dishes, cost 750,000 Vietnamese Dong, equivalent to approximately $35 USD.
